Experiencias Educar+e

  We started with the challenge “Productivity and economy" and the children of 3rd grade have been very excited about this topic. We have learned vocabularies such as: sale, services, products, supply, demand, expense, price, budget, investment, profit , among others. Just as we've also had discussions about economic inequality and how they could make products accessible to all social classes.  The children decided to start a brownie business as the final project of this challenge to test their productive and sales skills, as well they decided to cook the brownies themselves to complement their Science class where we learned the differences between a heterogeneous mixture and a homogeneous solution.  At this point of the challenge, we are in the stage of researching the prices of the products to purchase the ingredients to cook the brownies, and this week we are entering the advertising stage, where the kids have been creating banners to promote their brownies in Educare.
