February is the shortest month of the year but also is a month of celebration, African American History is celebrated year after year since 1926 when Dr. Carter G. Woodson the first Negro History Week on February of that year; but it was not until 1986 that February was established by law as month of observance to celebrate the history and culture of the African American community in the Unites States of America.
This month, our third grade English students created short biographies to decorate our bulletin board considering that African American History is American History!
